Leibniz on the Interpretation of Statutes': The study includes the German translation and the analysis of the Latin text 'De Legum interpretatione, rationibus, applicatione, systemate', authored by Leibniz, probably between 1678 and 1679, as well as the translation of the Latin text 'De legum rationibus inquirendis'. In addition to a philologic commentary and a juxtaposition with his biography and writings, the author elaborates on the intersection between Leibniz' thoughts and modern schools of legal interpretation.
