'Servitium Catechetae. A legal Classification of the Lay Service of Catechist in the Light of the Motu Proprio Antiquum Ministerium': The lay service of catechist, as introduced by the Motu Proprio Antiquum Ministerium, attributes great importance to the laity in fulfilling the mission of evangelization. In order to define clearly the canonical status of this service, and so enable it to develop its potential, the concepts of office and service need to be defined in canonical terms as does the understanding of the nature of the ecclesiastical office within the context of its historical development and within the framework of the current Canon law, including an analysis of the so-called catechistae in cc. 776, 780 and 785 CIC/1983.

Nina Jungblut studierte an der Universität Trier und der Theologischen Fakultät Trier Katholische Religionslehre, Germanistik und Bildungswissenschaften. Nach dem Abschluss absolvierte sie zudem erfolgreich den Magister- und Promotionsstudiengang in Katholischer Theologie. 2023 wurde sie in Trier zur Doktorin der Theologie promoviert. Seit 2020 ist sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Kirchenrecht, Religionsrecht und kirchliche Rechtsgeschichte an der Kölner Hochschule für Katholische Theologie (KHKT) sowie seit Oktober 2023 dortige Kanzlerin.
