This volume investigates the issues of email discourse conducted in Business English as a lingua franca (BELF) by specialists working in international teams within the field of project management. It discusses aspects of team language and team culture in professional environments taking into consideration the tenets of anthropocentric linguistics.

Justyna Zając is Assistant Professor at the University of Warsaw. Her main research interests lie in intercultural business and specialist communication, communication in virtual project teams, the use of English as the business lingua franca (BELF) and communication audit.
