Prof. Dr. Martin Elsäßer leitet den Fachbereich Grünlandwirtschaft und Futterbau am Landwirtschaftlichen Zentrum Baden-Württemberg (LAZBW) in Aulendorf. Er ist als Professor an der Universität Hohenheim tätig und Vorsitzender der AG der Grünlandinstitute (AGGF) und des Grünlandausschusses der DLG. Prof. Dr. Ernst Klapp war Direktor des Instituts für Pflanzenbau, Bonn. Prof. Dr. Dr. Wilhelm Opitz von Boberfeld war Professor für Grünlandwirtschaft und Futterbau und war an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen tätig.
