Beschreibung
Following the call to a de-Westernization of communication studies, a cosmopolitan turn in the various subfields of the discipline is in order. The contributors to this volume propose a deep internationalization of communication studies to achieve this goal and advocate for the inclusion of glocal perspectives and context-led approaches. Acknowledging and incorporating epistemologies, topics, and methodologies from diverse regions and backgrounds will enhance the comprehensiveness and relevance of the discipline and will foster a more inclusive and meaningful understanding of communication studies.
