In Ethiopia even if quality control for different pharmaceuticals done but postmarket survailane is not strongly performed. In this study four brands of Ibuprofen tablets was taken from drug retail outlets of Jimma town; west Ethiopia and evaluated for the different physicochemical properties. All the tests are performed in the quality control departement of Drug administration and control autority of ethiopia. Test is performed according to BP. and USP. pharmacopeial specification.
