Gregor Sailer’s work deals with the architecture of high-alpine regions, with architectural elements which, at second glance, appear completely alien and devoid of purpose. He deliberately dispenses with well-known, deeply symbolic architecture to keep the motifs interchangeable, non-assignable. They feature installations that are commonplace across the Alps. Their sole purpose: to dispatch/transport masses of people and to ensure the smooth running of tourist operations.
