The memoirs of the ex-chief of the Petrograd Safety Section Konstantin Globachev were written in the first years of emigration and they are dated by December of the 1922. A lot of attention in the memoirs is paid to the organization of the political investigation and social spirits of the pre-revolutionary Petrograd, to the activity of the Central military-industrial committee, its relations with the authorities. A separate chapter is dedicated to Grigori Rasputin and his relations with the emperor's family.
