At 59, Günter Mokulys is still among the elite of the world's best freestyle skateboarders and continues to compete and show around the world, earning respect and recognition from his peers above all for his routine, mostly perfect runs. In his career he can look back on 11 world championship titles, 6 European championship titles and numerous German championship titles. From a total of 120 competitions to date, he has completed more than half with first place.
In freestyle skateboarding, he also holds the record as the oldest champion at a world tournament at 51.
