L’histoire de l’Europe au XXe siècle est marquée par de nombreux dualismes dont les traces continuent à caractériser l’Union européenne. Pour mieux comprendre les problèmes actuels de l’intégration européenne, ces dualismes sont étudiés dans une perspective historique et déclinés en quatre axes de réflexion : Europe de l’Est Europe de l’Ouest, Europe comme rêve Europe comme réalité, Europe(s) politique(s) Europe(s) économique(s) et Europe puissance Europe comme instrument de puissance. Le présent ouvrage recueille les actes du IIIe colloque international de l’association RICHIE (Réseau international de jeunes chercheurs en histoire de l’intégration européenne) qui s’est tenu à Naples (Italie) en décembre 2007 et qui a réuni une vingtaine de jeunes chercheurs de toute l’Europe pour présenter l’état de leurs travaux en cours à travers cette perspective. The history of Europe in the 20th century is marked by several dualisms, traces of which continue to characterize the European Union. For a better understanding of the current problems of European integration, these dualisms should be studied in their historical context. This book is organized around four axes: Eastern Europe Western Europe, Europe as a dream Europe as a reality, Political Europe(s) Economic Europe(s), Europe as a power Europe as an instrument of power. The present work gathers the proceedings of the 3rd international conference of the RICHIE association (International Network of Young Researchers in European Integration History). The conference took place in Naples (Italy) in December 2007, and brought together young scholars from all over Europe to present their current research on this topic.

Les responsables de la publication : Michele Affinito est chercheur associé à l’Université Suor Orsola Benincasa (Naples, Italie). Docteur en herméneutique de l’histoire, il travaille sur les relations italo-américaines après la Deuxième Guerre mondiale. Guia Migani est chercheuse associée à l’Université de Padoue. Docteur en histoire, elle est maître de conférences à Sciences-Po Paris. Elle travaille sur les relations eurafricaines, la décolonisation, la guerre froide et l’intégration européenne. Christian Wenkel est enseignant-chercheur à Sciences-Po Paris. Docteur en histoire, ses domaines de recherche couvrent l’histoire de la France contemporaine, les relations franco-allemandes, les rapports Est-Ouest et la diplomatie parlementaire. The Editors: Michele Affinito is a postdoctoral researcher in contemporary history at the University Suor Orsola Benincasa (Naples, Italy) and has a Ph.D. in hermeneutic of history. His current research concerns the relationships between Italy and United States after the Second World War. Guia Migani is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Padova with a Ph.D. in history. She is a lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris and works on relations between Europe and Africa, decolonization, the Cold War and European integration. Christian Wenkel is a research assistant at Sciences-Po Paris with a Ph.D. in history. His field of research covers the history of contemporary France, Franco-German relations, East-West relations and parliamentary diplomacy.
