Contemporary medical technologies are based on fundamental research in the field of physics, mathematics, biology and chemistry. Laser therapy is a very promising and rapidly developing branch of modern medicine. It should be noted that there are many developments addressing the mathematical modelling of the distribution of laser radiation in a multilayered biological tissue as well as the thermal processes, accompanying the radiation. The depth of penetration of the laser beam and the temperature that we want to achieve in biological tissues are very important in practical terms as they are the factors which determine the possible extent for the application of lasers in clinics. "Modelling the impact of lasers on bio-tissues" is a monograph that presents summarized own results from a study of the peculiarities of distribution of the laser beam and is intended for specialists who are interested in the application of modern digital methods for modelling of numerical experiments in analyzing the interaction of laser radiation and biological tissues.
