Rezension

»Every single essay in this book offers new and original insights into Samuel Beckett's relationship to German literature and goes far in establishing yet more and deeper connections concerning the ›German Beckett‹.«

»No other study has documented Beckett's interest in, use of, and influence on German-language writing so thoroughly [...]. Thus [...] constitutes an obviously important contribution to the ever-growing field of Beckett studies and this splendid, fascinating and highly informative volume has a lot to teach us.«
