Beschreibung

The role of the HTU was, and still is today, to represent the needs of the students to the state and the university to the best of its ability. In addition to being politically active, the TU Student Union is also dedicated to solving students' everyday problems. Since its foundation, the tasks of the student union have continued to grow - and the HTU along with them. The number of departments has increased from just a few to a total of 12. In addition to the departments, funding committees have been established to support students going through difficult times in their lives. The HTU also organises projects such as unibrennt, the Month of Free Education, and FuTUre.

Rezension

“What can we do to improve the lives of students?” The answers to this question range from far-reaching political reforms to the daily problems students face. The diverse tasks and activities of the HTU Wien mean that it is a continually self-reinventing construct that supports, encourages, and inspires students to join in.
